Welcome!

My name is Carleta L. Burton, and my love for hair goes back to my teenage years when I used to create different styles on myself and my siblings. My nickname growing up was “Glamour Girl” because I was always in the mirror fixing my hair!

Hair has always been a true passion of mine, and that same love is expressed and seen in every client who sits in my chair.

I began my professional hair career in 1995 and earned my cosmetology license after completing my education at Central Beauty Academy. After working for several years at different salons , I decided to step out on faith and follow my dream of salon ownership. In 2007, my vision became a reality with the opening of “It’s A Wrap Hair Salon.”

While I love creating memorable hair moments for all my clients, I specialize in (specialty – e.g., healthy hair care, silk presses, extensions, color treatments, or precision cuts). I am deeply passionate about helping you achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful hair.

I pride myself on being a well-rounded stylist who listens and collaborates with clients to bring out their best look — enhancing both their outer beauty and inner confidence. My goal is to make every salon visit a pleasurable, relaxing, and uplifting experience.
